HBO Ending “Enlightened” Show, After two seasons, “Enlightened’s” light has been snuffed out.  HBO confirmed on Tuesday that the series, which stars co-creator Laura Dern as a woman whose attempts to live a more enlightened life has unexpected consequences, isn’t returning for a third round.

“It was a very difficult decision,” HBO said. “We’re proud of the show and we look forward to working with [co-creator] Mike White and Laura Dern in the future.”
