Bridge School Benefit 2011
Bridge School Benefit 2011, Catch Bridge School Benefit Concert on YouTube and Facebook. So you didn’t score a ticket for Neil and Pegi Young’s gala 25th Annual Bridge School concert this weekend?
Sure, you can content yourself with picking up a copy of the 3-DVD/2-CD “The Bridge School Benefit Concerts — 25th Anniversary Edition” next Tuesday. But here’s another novel idea — why not catch Saturday’s show live online instead, live from Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, via YouTube and Facebook?
And yes, it’s true. For the first time ever, the Bridge School Benefit (or Day One at least) will be webcast for fans, starting at 5 p.m.
The lineup is a can’t-miss one, too, with Neil Young (of course), Dave Matthews, Arcade Fire, Eddie Vedder, Beck, Los Invisibles, Mumford & Sons, Devendra Banhart and Norah Jones’ side project The Little Willies.
There’s even a new custom-made Facebook app that provides a landing page, where the online community can not only watch the show, but also interact as it progresses.
OK, it’s not as great as being there. But it’s a pretty incredible offer, nonetheless!
Here’s where to go: www.youtube.com/bridgebenefitconcert and www.facebook.com/supportbridgeschool.
