Ex-publicist: Kim Kardashian Wedding Fake
Ex-publicist: Kim Kardashian Wedding Fake, Kim Kardashian hires lawyer over 'wedding sham' claims. Kim Kardashian has hired a lawyer to deal with claims that her wedding to Kris Humphries was a sham.
Publicist Jonathan Jaxson, who claims to have represented Kardashian between 2007 and 2009, stated that Kardashian only got married to honour various contracts she had signed, including with the E! network.
However, Kardashian claims that she and Jaxson only worked together once on a blog years ago and that she barely remembers who he is.
According to TMZ, Kardashian hasn't spoken to Jaxson for years, but did make him sign a confidentiality agreement when they worked on the blog.
She feels he is violating the contract and has hired lawyer Marty Singer, who submitted papers to a private arbitration court to try and stop Jaxson from talking publicly about Kardashian while promoting his book.
Singer said: "Everything that he is saying is false and nonsense. This guy is in it to promote himself for his 15 mins of fame."
Jaxson told the website: "I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either party's signature on it."
Kardashian claims that Jaxson has damaged her reputation and is seeking a minimum of $200,000 in compensation.
She filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31, 72 days after her $20m wedding.
