"Bones" actor David Boreanaz, 42, who admitted earlier this year to a 2010 affair with Uchitel, the former nightclub hosted and Tiger Woods mistress, has come out to say that his indiscretions made his marriage stronger.
"In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive," the actor told TV Week, according to Usmagazine.com. "There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you."
Boreanaz called the affair "a bonding experience, in the long run" for he and his wife, former Playboy Playmate Jaime Bergman, whom he married in November 2001 at the Playboy mansion.
"Do I believe in giving up?" Boreanaz, who was entangled in an on-set sexual harassment scandal earlier this year, asked. "No, I don't. I'm a fighter. I'm a lover."
For her part, so is Uchitel.
The 36-year old stunner recently married beau Matthew Hahn in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony in Las Vegas.
"We are really happy and feel extremely fortunate to have one another," Uchitel told the Daily News at the time.
