Former Pussycat Doll replacing 'X Factor' judge
While we spent a lot of time following who was going to be on the judge's panel on Simon Cowell's new import, The X-Factor, it seems Cheryl Cole won't be a judge after all. No, former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger is getting that nod. Wait, we thought she was going to be a co-host with Steve Jones ...
The move happened very recently, according to TMZ, which would have to be super recently, considering they just announced the lineup a couple weeks ago. Scherzinger will join Paula Abdul, Antonio "L.A." Reid and Cowell as a judge.
There's no word what happened to Cole, but the fact no one has ever heard of her may have had something to do with it. Granted, the Pussycat Dolls ain't quite the Beatles, but at least they had a record in the Billboard Top 100 in the U.S.
