Its Chip and Dip Day

Its Chip and Dip Day
March 23rd:  National Chip and Dip Day
Origin:  No source/creator has claimed this day.
As if Potato Chip Day was not good enough, the famous chip and dip combo day is here! We love chips, but when we throw in a dip, our little hearts grow a bit more. Maybe not on the healthy meter though, but who cares…right?
How to celebrate: It’s easy! Buy chips and dip, you don’t have to tell me twice. If you go out and it is an option, order some chips with yummy guacamole, cheese dip or just the good ol’ salsa!
This Day in History:
  • The first picture of the moon was taken. (1840)
  • First use of “OK” This was done by Boston’s Morning Post, short for “oll korrect” which was considered cool slang for- all correct. (1839)
  • The Dixie Cup was invented. (1912)
  • Titanic won 11 Oscars at the Academy Awards. (1998)
  • Patrick Henry famously declares “Give me liberty, or give me death!” (1775)
